Tripod IT was established in Stroud in 2000 by John McLellan and Wendy Clifford to provide businesses
in Gloucestershire with the computers and networks they need to operate efficiently and profitably.
In the fast-changing world of IT, we have grown by understanding and satisfying the business needs of
our clients throughout Gloucestershire and beyond.
We now look after the computers and networks of many of Gloucestershire's best known businesses and organisations.
We have worked hard over the years to develop successful partnerships with key IT suppliers and distributors, so
we can offer our clients the best and most appropriate technology and software for their needs.
Tripod IT is a Microsoft Certified Partner and Small Business Specialist actively working toward Gold Certified Partner Status.
We have been a Nominet member and Registrant (formerly known as a TAG holder) since 2005 which means we have direct control on all the .uk domain names on our TAG. We don't use a third party.
All other domain names are managed via our OpenSRS account.
Our status as a Dell Partner offers us access to discount on computers for businesses.
Stroud Fringe Festival
We are proud of our roots in Stroud and have been sponsors of the Stroud Fringe since 2003 - financially as well as hosting the website on one of our webservers.
Wynstones School in Whaddon
We also have strong associations with Wynstones School - replacing their server and upgrading their network at the end of 2008.
